Fox and Hound Pub has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy as spiraling profits has hurt the sports bar themed restaurant.  Fox and Hound also runs the Champs Americana brand which will also close.  Together over 6000 employees will lose their jobs just before Christmas.  That sucks.  Founded in Texas in 1994 Fox and Hound and Champs will close 101 restaurants.  The Fox and Hound in Uptown closed 2 weeks ago, I guess they wanted to beat the rush.

  1. You may want to confirm that all of these Fox and Hound and Champpss restaurants will be closing. Other reports say they will remain open during the bankruptcy.

  2. I read an article in the WSJ that said the parent company is selling off all the assets so I doubt any of the Fox and Hounds will be staying open for long.

  3. Fox and Hound food sucked. Never ate anything there that was any good.

  4. This is a Ch. 11 reorganization not liquidation. They will close unprofitable stores but most will remain open. Simply untrue that over 6000 employees just lost their jobs.

  5. My friend works at the one in Ballantyne and they are closing for sure, don’t know about the other ones.
