Natty Greene's has finally made it to Charlotte, the beer that is. For those of you not familiar with Natty Greene's they are a great concept out of Greensboro that brews their own beer. They have 2 restaurants. One is located in downtown Greensboro and the other is in the Glenwood South area of Raleigh. The beer is here and hopefully restaurant #3 will be here too.
Natty Greene’s has really great beer. The restaurant in Greensboro is fun, it has 3 levels. I have not been to the one in Raleigh. I hope they make it to Charlotte, it is a great place to hang out with friends.
For $8.99 a six pack it better be good. I will give it a try.
Towngirl, you must be used to drinking Bud Light because all the craft beers cost at least $7-8 per six pack.
What do you have against Bud Light?
I won’t presume to speak for rorycory, but as for me, Bud Light is simply mass produced, flavorless crap for people who either don’t know anything about beer, or want to drink an alcoholic beverage thats tastes as much like water as possible.
Is the only place to buy Natty Greene’s at Harris Teeter? Will they have it in bars too?
Chris Lester who is one of the owners of Natty Greene’s plans to have it on tap in bars around Charlotte soon. We will post on when this will happen. Chris plans on having a Natty Greene’s launch party in the next couple of weeks where they introduce their beers to Charlotte officially. We think it will be at Taco Mac in Southpark but nothing is confirmed. Stay tuned to RT for further updates.
I had some of their beer at their restaurant in Greensboro and it was all very good. They had 4 or 5 different kinds and everyone in my group thought they were tasty.
Which HT is it in? I was in the one on Park Road and they did not have it.
They have it at the HT in Moorecroft.
