Chuy’s to Open in Southpark

Restaurant Traffic has learned that Austin, Texas based Chuy's will open their first North Carolina store in the Southpark area. Chuy's serves traditional Tex-Mex cuisine in an eclectic (tacky) setting. They have an Elvis Shrine and every year on his birthday (January 8th) they throw him a Birthday Bash with an Elvis impersonator visiting the restaurant.

Cannot be happier! Chuy’s is one of the few chains I miss from home.

Though I do wonder where it will go… if it is actually going to be here in the mall, either CPK or M&S has to go.

Chuy’s is great. It will be embraced by Charlotte, any time table on when it will open? Southpark Mall is vague too. Is it in the mall or in a surrounding area?

I believe that it will be going where Zink American Kitchen is in southpark near cowfish.

Our family can’t wait for Chuy’s to come to Charlotte!!! It is our favorite place to go when we are in Austin.

One of our favorite places in Texas! Never been to one of their restaurants that we did not love!!!
