Jersey Mike's Sub's will take over half the former Blockbuster Video Store space on East Blvd when they formally close for business.  Jersey Mike's is known for serving Northeastern style subs since 1956.  They have over 500 locations including 8 here in Charlotte.  The Blockbuster business model is broken and they are closing most of their retail stores across the country.  The growing popularity of services like Netflix and Redbox have doomed them like so many businesses in the Internet age.
