American (New) Restaurants

After being closed for 8 months 131 Main in Dilworth has reopened to the public.  131 had an unfortunate trio of disasters.  First it was a fire in the kitchen which led to a lot of damage but unfortunately more smoke damage throughout the entire restaurant.  Next came the car crashes.  They had not one but two different cars crash through the front doors while they were closed.  Well, they are now open just in time for the Holiday's.  Restaurant Traffic stopped by the day before the Grand Opening and talked to GM Mel Funk.  He was excited and shared with us that virtually everything in the restaurant was new due to the smoke damage.  The restaurant looked great and you know the food is outstanding.  We hope everyone in the neighborhood stops by and welcomes them again.
