7 Charlotte ‘Restaurant Week’ First-Timers to Feast At

Charlotte’s Queen’s Feast, known to many as simply, ‘Restaurant Week’, seems like it’s always right around the corner. More accurately, the flavorsome event occurs twice a year, once in January and once again in July. With dozens of new restaurant concepts opening up each year in the Queen City, it’s always exciting to discover new additions to indulge in; and with each restaurant offering an array of their tastiest, most impressive dishes in an attempt to win over the hearts of Charlotteans, it’s almost impossible not to.

This summer, you can enjoy and participate in Queen’s Feast from Friday, July 22 until Sunday, July 31. For most locals, the ‘rules’ of Restaurant Week have long been ingrained into our heads. However, for those less familiar with the week-long event, here’s a little refresher:

– Choose from 130+ participating restaurants located throughout the greater Charlotte area
– 8 participating counties: Mecklenburg, Gaston, Lincoln, Catawba, Iredell, Cabarrus, Union and York
– Menus are prix fixe and offer a three-course dinner
– Cost: $30 to $35 per person, depending on the restaurant
– Reservations are strongly recommended
– Full list of participating restaurants can be viewed here
