The Herban Legend Food Truck to Close Doors Sept. 6

Food Truck, Charlotte

If you’ve poked your nose around my posts and tweets, than you know how much I adore the vegetarian black bean burger from The Herban Legend food truck. Well, yesterday was a sad, sad day for myself and other Charlottean food truck lovers when Chef Brian Seeley announced via Facebook that he will be closing the doors to The Herban Legend to “pursue other endeavors.”

After three years of serving up international and American-inspired street-food favorites such as Shawarma, Vegetarian Black Bean Burger, Filipino Pork Belly, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken, the Herban Legend will serves its last meals on September 6.

I can’t help but be hopeful that Brian, who has been in the food industry for 30 years, and has traveled internationally to pursue his culinary career, is closing this door to open a new one—in Charlotte.

Be sure to check back with Restaurant Traffic for updates on the Herban Legend’s “last supper” on September 6 and information on Chef Brian’s “other endeavors.”
