Matthews Restaurants

First of all Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day (which is September 16th) but a celebration that we in the USA do to celebrate Mexican heritage by drinking all day.  Very similar to St Patrick's day which until recently was not celebrated in Ireland.  Oh well, any reason to have a good time.  Cinco de Mayo events will be held at every Mexican restaurant in Charlotte.  We are going to head to our 2 favorite joints Pure Taqueria in Matthews and Loco Lime on Central and have fun.
