Del Frisco’s Hosts Toys For Tots Party on Monday

Del Frisco's in Southpark will host the BEDL 10th annual Toys for Tots party this Monday starting at 5 pm. Toys for Tots is the U.S. Marine Reserve Corps program to collect new, unwrapped toys and then distribute those toys to less fortunate children in the community who otherwise would not get any gifts during Christmas. The event will have a live band and a cash bar. There will also be passed hors d'oeuvres which is a fancy way of saying snacks. This is the 3rd straight year Del Frisco's has sponsored this great event and they have made a lot of kids happy during the Holidays who might have missed out. The picture below was taken tonight. That is a lot of toys.

I was at Buddy’s event last year and you would not believe how many toys were below the Christmas tree. It will bring a tear to your eye. Stop by Del’s tonight to participate in one great event and make sure you bring a toy or two.

I was at this event last year too and will be going tonight. They must have had a dozen bicycles under the tree. This is truly one great event that positively benefits children who would not have much of a Christmas otherwise.
