Dilworth Restaurants

According to Ely Portillo of the Charlotte Observer both Freshberry Yogurt Cafe and Smallcakes Cupcakery will shut their doors this weekend for good.  These 2 short lived ventures suffered from lack of business and never really took hold in the tight knit Dilworth neighborhood.  Freshberry also had another yogurt competitor directly across the street in Menchie's that opened before them.  Not a good idea to open the same thing right across the street, especially if you are the second one to open, someone is not going to make it.
