Grand Opening! Clean Juice, Davidson

Grand Opening! Clean Juice, Davidson

A growing number of people are becoming more aware of what we eat and how it affects our health and environment. We are seeing a kickstart of healthier eating habits across parts of the world and observing it’s gradual evolution to a more mainstream way of life – and Charlotte is following suit. The demand for healthy, fast casual dining¬†appears to be increasing, and a number of options to meet this demand are sprouting up all over the city.

One concept that seems to be catching on quickly is juicing and cleansing. I wouldn’t call it a trend so much as a compliment¬†to a healthy lifestyle. Many people have experienced the personal health benefits¬†of consuming highly condensed forms of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals found in cold pressed fruits and vegetables.¬†Answering the demand for healthy fast casual options is the fast-growing Clean Juice franchise. A new location just opened this past weekend on Jetton Street in Davidson and a handful of other locations are already helping detox folks all over the Huntersville, Concord, Ballantyne, and Northlake Mall areas.

Serving up a full menu of cold-pressed, raw, organic juices, you will find items like fresh cut pineapple, greens, and whole peeled oranges on display¬†and ready for processing. Also on the menu are smoothies, like “The Tropical One” which mixes Kale with Pineapple, Banana, Coconut Oil & Coconut Water. Juicers won’t walk away hungry with a full menu of Acai Bowls, Oat Bowls, Toast with Almond Butter and Honey or Avocado and Spices, and small Desserts are available.

Newest personal favorite menu item? The Cashew Milk Latte with Organic Cold Brew Coffee, Cashews, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Maple Syrup, and Himalayan Pink Sea Salt. Also available are smaller 8oz grab-and-go bottles for those who want to explore a variety of new flavors! Clean Juice has also incorporated an element of philanthropy into their business model, by offering 100% non-profit Human Kind bottled water [pictured below]. Every bottle purchased supplies water to one person for 100 days!

Also, during the grand opening held this past weekend, a percentage of Clean Juice’s proceeds were donated to the ADA Jenkins Center, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those in poverty break the cycle and gain economic independence. I met with franchisee Mike Hosey, who claimed the most attractive quality of the Clean Juice brand was the uplifting environment it fosters.

The Clean Juice brand supports a sense of well-being from the inside out. On each bottle you will see the words, “Dear Friend, I Hope All Is Well With You And That You Are As Healthy In Body As You Are Strong In Spirit.” – 3 John 1:2. Here is hoping that everyone reading this has a healthy and happy¬†day! If you are ever in Davidson, Concord, Huntersville, Northlake Mall, or Ballantyne, stop by Clean Juice and try¬†out the healing powers for yourself!
