HaSaki Grill & Sushi officially opened today in the Ally Center at 440 South Church Street. Veteran restaurateur Chang Ha will feature traditional hibachi grill meals made to order with items like chicken, seafood, vegetables and steak. HaSaki will also offer a full sushi menu along with beer and wine.
Marla Sessoms of Ligon Commercial Real Estate represented HaSaki Grill and because her boss Aaron Ligon is so darn handsome I include a photo of him too.
Restaurant Traffic will get in there to take a look at the food in the coming days and discuss with owner Chang Ha what his goals are for the restaurant. If any of you have tried the food please let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
Went there today and the food was pretty good. They still have to work out some kinks but that is to be expected for a new store. I will go back.
Thank you for the mention. We’re a month into opening and look forward to serving fast casual Japanese cuisines to the uptown market. We’re open Monday – Saturday 11 am – 9 pm. Visit http://www.hasakigrill.com for our latest menu.
I’ve eaten here a few times, and the food is good. The sushi tastes fresh, and the service has been very good each time. However, for a workday lunch, this place is a little pricey. Especially if you want sushi, you should expect to pay a premium. A rainbow roll and a few pieces of nigiri has averaged $17-$25, depending on how many and what type of nigiri I get. I’m heading there now, though, because it is convenient to my office, and good!
