H&M Clothing is heading to Charlotte. Sources tell Restaurant Traffic that the hot retailer is heading to (surprise) The Southpark Mall and the Northlake Mall. We knew if they were going to make it here they would have to open in Southpark. H&M is known for hip inexpensive clothes geared to the young and beautiful. H&M has locations in Raleigh and Winston Salem but now will have a presence in the largest city in North Carolina. No firm date on when they will enter the market but they are coming.
Yeah! About time. I love H&M.
Finally! I never understood why Raleigh gets stores like H&M, Lush, the Container Store, etc before Charlotte
The Charlotte Observer posted this story today.
That is great for my wife, not for our bank account;).
If true, congrats RT, you scooped all the other media outlets! You have a great site, keep up the good work.
H&M is NOT coming to SouthPark. H&M requires 22k sqft and there is not a space that big at the mall.
Not now Mark, but everything changes.
well, that came from the mall managers mouth.
i still don’t understand the appeal of southpark other than to feed into the economic choices our country made that put us in a housing market crash and credit crisis…. seriously- that mall is so uptight and NOT fun. on top of that- the clothing and prices of H&M (been shopping there 20 years) are geared towards young, broke people… again- NOT southpark mall. i hope they don’t go there. further, i hope they open a larger store than the other two we have in NC… bring on the european-sized stores, the san francisco sized stores… ugh. charlotte is so wack.
