Jack’s New Yorker Deli officially opened for business this past Thursday in Uptown at the Transamerica Square Building on North Tryon.  That is Jack above on the right with Charlotte franchisee Mark Nichols.  Jack’s is an authentic New York Deli with Southern Charm.  The food is scratch made with only the freshest ingredients.  They serve breakfast all day and have some of the tastiest sandwiches around.  This is a deli of a completely different caliber.  They are family friendly and try to remember every customers name so they can greet you the next time you come in.

Look at the amount of Shrimp on the Shrimp Po’ Boy Sandwich.  The sandwich comes with a side and a fountain drink for one low price.

The Meatball Sub was honestly one of the best I have ever had.  It rivaled one I actually had in New York City.  They hand cut Potatoes to make the Fries, nothing out of the freezer here.

The side Salad is huge.  Jack’s is a welcome new edition to Charlotte.  This is the first Jack’s outside of Atlanta and will become the second favorite import from that city after Cam Newton here in the Queen City unless Cam has a bad year and then they will move up to #1.  Jacks CAM

  1. I lived in Atlanta before moving here for work and I can’t tell you how excited I am that a Jack’s has made it to Charlotte. It is the best deli around. I hope they migrate out to the suburbs too so all of Charlotte can try them.

  2. I ate at Jack’s yesterday and they are right, it is much better than most deli’s including Newk’s right down the road. Newk’s has that chain feel and you can tell in the food they serve. Jack’s is more like what you find in New York city, it is an original deli. I am glad they are here.

  3. Great food.

  4. That area of Uptown needs some good quick lunch options.

  5. Awesome place! Love it in Atlanta. I know it will be great in Charlotte. My favorite is either breakfast all day or I love the chicken pesto panini.
