Lavecchia's Steaks and Seafood restaurant has closed it's doors after 14 years in business.  They relocated to the Hearst tower a little over a year ago.  Owner Nick Lavecchia cited slow sales as the main reason for the restaurant's demise.  Lavecchia's was a Charlotte mainstay in Uptown before Uptown was cool.  They will be missed.
