Moe’s Original BBQ Heading to Matthews

Our friend and colleague Patty Dowdy with National Restaurant Properties has just placed Moe's Original BBQ in the former Pure Taqueria location in Matthews. We loved Pure but thought Matthews was an odd location. Moe's on the other hand looks to be a perfect fit. They are based out of Colorado and this will be the 2nd North Carolina location, the other is in Ashville. Moe's is known for their BBQ, local beers, scratch made food and good times. Moe's is shooting for a late spring-early summer grand opening. Stay tuned to Restaurant Traffic for more information.

That building seemed a little too modern for a BBQ restaurant, will be interesting how they change it over to a Moe’s BBQ.

I have been to the other one and it had some good food. Glad it is coming closer to Charlotte.
