Ballantyne Restaurants

Restaurant Traffic has learned that Charleston based Oak Steakhouse has passed (for now) on the old City Range Building on Johnston Road.  Oak Steakhouse owner Steve Palmer has had his eyes on the Charlotte area for some time and was originally in the ownership group that brought the 15 North Roadside Kitchen to Montford Drive in Myers Park.  Smokey Bissell has wanted a high end restaurant for the entrance to his Ballantyne Corporate Park since City Range closed over 4 years ago.
