Quaker Steak and Lube Blows a Gasket in Pineville

Quaker Steak and Lube in Pineville has closed after 6 short months in business. This is the 2nd Quaker Steak to close in Charlotte after the one in Myers Park closed several years ago. The Quaker Steak in Concord close to the speedway remains open. No word on why they only lasted such a short time but the real estate side of me thinks they were in an extremely tough location.

My stomach says it is because the food was overpriced and vile. We ate there once – with a Groupon, and everyone got sick.
This place sucked
It was gawd-awful.
The food has to at least be edible, I have no idea how this concept could ever make it with the “food” they put out. The people in Concord must have pretty low standards if it has been open that long.
