Despite what your girlfriend or wife told you size does matter, at least where foot long subs and Subway Subs are concerned.  Subway recently got in trouble for coming up a little short.  That is an actual picture of one of Subway's famous "foot long" subs above.  It sure looks like it is not as large as advertised.  Maybe it was cold?   Subway is blaming it on stage fright.  No, not really, they are blaming it on their franchisees not baking the bread correctly.  Subway says it will correct the "shrinkage" issue and you will get the full 12 inches in the future.
