Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes Get Real
It’s almost that time of year again. As Labor Day sits just right around the corner – so does Pumpkin Spice season. The popular Starbucks beverage, Pumpkin Spice Latte, will finally be back but this time with a different recipe. Starbucks, among other popular restaurant chains, has been under pressure to eliminate harmful preservatives and ingredients from their menu items over the more recent years. After many complaints from customers, the controversial ingredient, Caramel Color Level IV, will finally be cut from the popular beverage. Other ingredients to be removed from the seasonal latte include artificial colors, flavors, & sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup and preservatives. The chain now boasts a new recipe containing real pumpkin instead. The Pumpkin Spice Latte season will officially begin on September 8th. Let team Restaurant Traffic know if you can taste the difference.
