The family and I went to a Sweet Tomatoes restaurant the other day while we were in Orlando doing the family vacation thing.  They actually have 2 of these in Raleigh.  Why not Charlotte?  Another mystery.  Sweet Tomatoes is an all you can eat buffet style restaurant that would appeal to anybody with families that is looking for a healthy quick meal.  Sweet Tomatoes is a step above your average buffet style restaurant and I can see it appealing to families since the cost is $2.99 for 3-5 year olds which includes milk.  Sweet Tomatoes started in San Diego and has grown to over 112 stores in 15 states.  I wonder why Charlotte has not had some of the salad oriented concepts spring up?   They would do well in several areas of town including Ballantyne and anywhere in South Charlotte.
