Taco Mac Charlotte Coming Soon

Future Restaurant Traffic Writer Finley Tschirhart

You probably already know that Taco Mac is Charlotte's biggest sports bar. You might not know that they are currently building their 2nd store in the University Area. RT will get up there in the next few weeks for our Sneak Peek series. Taco Mac's North Carolina Director of Operations John Griffin told us they will have the popular tap tables currently in the Southpark store as well as a large patio and of course enough TV's to see every sports game your heart desires. Stay tuned for updates.

140 beers, how can you go wrong? I am so glad they came to Charlotte and are going to build more restaurants. Where in the University are they going to build?

    • Adam Williams says:

They are taking over the old Texas Land and Cattle restaurant right behind Chili’s. Stay tuned for new construction pictures as RT was up there last week. RT is your source for new restaurants.

Are they ever going to make it to Ballantyne? We need something like them out here.

Make sure you try the baked wings next time you are in the Mac. I don’t know if they are any better than the fried wings but they are delicious. Wash it down with a couple of beers too.

I can hardly wait for Taco Mac to make it to the University. The Flying Saucer is tired and small. Taco Mac-about time.

  6. Kenny Faust says:

Also opening in Huntersville in old Max & Erma’s location on Sam Furr Road.

  7. eduardolopez says:

Taco Mac needs to make it to Tega Cay or Fort Mill, any thoughts on them making it there?

  8. freddycc says:

Why not open a Taco Mac farther North at Mooresville?

  9. Kenny Faust says:

Now have heard they have backed out of the Max & Erma’s location for being too small.

    • Adam Williams says:

Demolition is complete, they will start construction in a few weeks. Stay tuned for pics of the progress.

Any update on what’s going in to the old Max and Erma’s in H’ville? There isn’t a sign but definitely construction.
