When my business partner told me he was leasing space to a 24/7 french bakery in 28th RO in NODA, I was skeptical. That was until I tried the product. Amelie's Charlotte is packed all day, every day. They have grown so quickly that they have acquired more space in Uptown and production space up the street.

Whether you are going in for a breakfast sandwich or pastry, a lunch sandwich on fresh brioche or baguette, or the most incredible dessert you will find, Amelie's will deliver with Parisian flair.

On this fine day, we were at Amelie's for breakfast. The Wife went for a classic breakfast quiche.

I went for the breakfast baguette with sausage egg & cheese. I am a growing boy and could have eaten three of these, but what was on the plate was delicious.

Readers, the question, is this the best bakery in town? Novas, Sunflour, any other contenders???
