Uncle Maddio’s to Open in Overstreet Mall

Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint will open it's first Charlotte location in the Overstreet Mall in Uptown. Uncle Maddio's lets you have pizza your way. You customize your pie the way you want it. You choose the style of crust and the toppings and then they cook it to order. The pizza then goes in their high speed ovens and it is ready in 6 minutes. They only use fresh ingredients and they are affordable, your pie is generally under $10 dollars.

Tough to make it in the Overstreet Mall when you only have 5 days a week and no night business.

More pizza?
I think Charlotte has enough pizza and yogurt shops. Oh yeah we are at critical mass on burger places too.

I agree, the Overst street Mall is a tough sell since you have such limited hours. Also like today when there is a holiday it is a ghost town and then nobody will be there Thursday or Friday so that means you only have 2 days to do business this week. Tough.

What’s interesting is that a national chain pizzeria, Sbarro’s, went out of business in the location right next to it. And Maddio’s is opening in a store vacated by Einstein’s (overpriced) Bagels which is a breakfast and lunch place. Good luck Maddio’s!
